Hernandez de la Vega
Year: 2024
Location: Guanajuato, Mexico
Project Type: Residential
Our objective in this project was to transform a loft for a family of three, fully respecting the existing structure and layout. The main challenge was to revitalize the spaces without the need for major renovations, optimizing both the arrangements for fixed furniture and the ample natural light.
We took advantage of the loft's exceptional height of 3 meters to create a sense of spaciousness and openness. The social area was designed as an open floor plan, where the furniture becomes the key element defining each space. This strategy not only expands the visual perception but also creates a fluid and direct connection with the exterior through the large windows.
In the private area, we focused on custom carpentry design. Each piece, from the closets to the bathroom furniture, integrates aesthetically with the rest of the apartment, maximizing functionality and storage space. The result is a home that harmoniously combines practicality with a renewed aesthetic.
